Things seem to have gone quite on the Duke of Lancaster. No one got any new news?

Your right on that Gaz
Tell you what.
If I win the lottery tonight I will try and buy the Duke.
If I was sucsessfull I would put the ship to good use.
I would use her to raise money for local charities.
Better than leaving her to rot.
Put her to good use and help local people
They want people to use their market
Put something back into the community
Makes good business sense and creates good relations
Supermarkets do it all the time
Unfortunately I doubt if they have that much sense or forsight

About time! No, seriously, I'm really glad to see that something is happening. I thought the appreciation society was a dead duck.

Reasonably good initial layout, just waiting for the bits to be filled in now!

I await with interest!  Smiley

Theres an update to the DoL site on June 9th. Lots of pictures I've not seen before!

I particularly like the one taken on the bridge!

Just in case some are not aware, the  DoL website is currently telling the story of her history in weekly updates. I for one am finding it very interesting.
