Octopus tentacles! Now I like most seafood but ordered this in a stew on holiday once. A plate arrived with tentacles hanging over the sides still covered in suckers - blech. I tried them but had to stop as I was almost sick

On the farchnad yesterday was a stall selling "Fruits de Mer" and tentacles were hanging all over the shop ....blurgh. Pat loves it. I like seafood but seeing all that in one massive container made me wanna chwyd mawr. We had some "kibbeling" which are chunks of deep fried fish with a garlicky sauce...yum yum.

Reminds me of something one of my old teachers used to say.  Mr Ade would always say, "TRIPE AND ONIONS!!!" if we were wrong.

I had huge respect for that man, great teacher and a tireless worker for SSAFA.

The nastiest individual I ever encountered in school - he hated kids and was only in teaching because it was an easy step from the RAF in those days. I used to dream of burning his house down as a kid... sorry Miri Embarrassed

Squid..... The Greeks here it it all the time, i was curious as i wonered what it tasted like, it was chewy and tasted  bladdy terrible and i was most sick  afterwards and i only had a tiny piece, why on earth would people eat squid, raw sea urchin and snails  these days when you  can get a good steak, they eat sheep`s heads as well, we were in a BBQ last year and a whole sheep was  cut up and served, there was an argument between two old greek women over the head of the thing, they shared it anyway and to see them eating the eye`s and brains was  disgusting  .
