No, I don't like too much gravy.  I don't mind making the gravy, I'm renowned for my gravy...

Can't you invite Tref and Mab just this once ??

I'm rather glad Porty didn't invite me round for Christmas dinner as I'm already booked in with some of the family who know how to look after a poor penshuneer. Not like some on here yeah.

I'll take my own thin glass and if need be I'll chop up the furniture.

Woke up... Slight headache from the vast amount of Juice i drank last night, Mam Bach in the Gegyn slaving away, the whole house is smelling of roasting Meats, its quiet now but this is just before the storm, the rest of the Tulip Family will be making there way down in an hour or two, then we can all have a laugh and joke and reminisce on things past and look forward to the future,oh and we will really enjoy the Feast that Mam Bach has made... That's why i love Ceargybi at Christmas....

Well, I had a nice lie-in, woken at 07:30 by my bust ribs shouting for their fix of tramadol, which is later than usual! The first time ever me and Mrs T have been up BEFORE the kids on Christmas day! The kids opened a few prezzies then we went to a carol service at the Baptist Church in Newry Street, which was very good and only an hour, then home for a magnificent traditional Christmas dinner, and opened the prezzies - some nice things too! Just walked my mam home then went a bit further with the Jacko. Settling down for a quiet evening in now. Junior had a nice loptap but I can't find the WEP code so he can't get on the internet yet. I'm hoping the ISP will be available on the phone tomorrow...

Hope your day is going great!

Regards,

G-bo woke us up at 8am (the only day in the year he gets up voluntarily) and off we went to see if Santa had been. He had. The tree looked gorgeous and fstive with the wrapped gifts underneath - until G-bob dived underneath and started to distribute gifts. Much fun and laughter, lots of hugs and kisses and some gorgeous gifts. The preparation for the dinner to follow, 9 people in total to feed....in between popping back for "my go" on Pat's new singstart game. That evening we were all many different pop and rock legends until about 10ish when our friedns went home.

G-Bob got these:

I'm thinking a pair of them would be handy for dusting inaccesible high corners.  At Del's house yesterday it was meant to be traditional turkey but fate stepped in and we ended up with chicken.  I've got to be honest and say I prefer chicken.  Lunch was delicious and the thing I think I'd most looked forward to was sprouts.  Del made her own christmas pud this year and it was lovely.  There was no alcohol in it so we couldn't set it alight so she stuck candles in it instead and everyone sang happy Christmas to you.
