Typical!  I try to educate myself, become more aware of technological advances and ask pertinent questions that should elicit a response that will edify me and what do we get?  Porty and Tref going down the path of measuring the angle of the dangle and pethna.  I have tried.

Oh, Mab ...

(Mind you, I hadn't heard of a dongle until I started reading this thread, either ... I thought it was something out of a poem by Edward Lear  - The Land where the Donglies Glow, or some such.)

On the news last night the Welsh Assembly Government will have strict new planning laws on mobile phone masts where as before you could erect anything under 15m (i think) anyway now all masts will need planning thus getting turned down will put Wales behind compared to England & Scotland, on these masts are the new mobile broadband antenna and micro wave dishes.

Wales having less erections than England and Scotland, not a good thing no?

I got a Vodafone dongle to go with my new netbook as I'm working away from home Sad Fairly good reception, it drops back to GPRS when 3G isn't available.
