Are there any available?

I ask because I have some songs that need to be shortened/edited.

Don't know, but if he doesn't show up, you can ckeck out:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows

It's quite simple, I've used it in the past.

Thanks for that, Gaz.  I've just installed it.  When I get a bit of time to fiddle about with it I'll give it a go.

I've used "Nero Wave Editor" successfully in the past. I think it's a lot more basic than what Wils will use though, but it may be suitable for what you want to do, Shell.

I use Audacity (Linux version though) - easy to use, good interface etc.

Thanks for the suggestion Jagster.  Welcome to the site by the way!  Have you used Adobe Audition with any success?  I gave audacity a go but it didn't seem to do what I wanted.  Perhaps I just need a tutorial or something to understand it properly.

I know I've come to this party a little late, but I'd suggest Audacity, as it's free (and Cod uses it), or Cockos Reaper (I think it's also free with a  non-commerical licence).

Nero Waves is also good (as Nooks says) but you have to pay for that, dol.

If you want any more info, please give me another seven month's notice.

I thought that Cockos Reaper was a Welsh cockler on Lavan Sands.

You'd be better off with Magix Music Studio though.
