Depends which end of Llaingoch you're going to I suppose.  You'll be about 1 - 1.5 km from the exchange as the crow flies (but the copper might run the long way around) so should get around 5 Meg max from the 8 Meg service.  Broadband was just a dream of the future when I left Town so I don't know of internet speeds personally, sorry.

I get 18.5 - 19 Meg down and 1.1 Meg up Smiley  Moving soon (hopefully) and will miss the speed when we get the new place.

You can check here by putting in the post code (if you know it) http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/adslchecker.php  it'll tell you how far you are from the exchange and what speeds you can likely expect, or here http://www.samknows.com/broadband/ will give you some info

Croeso yeah Dragonite. Personally I get cachu poeth connection but I live away. As long as you can get onto CG.com yer allright yeah - then the speed of your connection depends on who you're talking to.

MyM - Excellent but often uses code that's hard to decipher
Tref - Excellent but due to excess massive housage, tends to be re-routed
Shell - Wonderful and a pleasure to connect with
Gribbie - ditto and has access to much rural networks
Llaliny - Good except on weekends, bank holidays and has the occasional unexplained "downtime"
Tec - Usually very good but often needs repair
Baz - Very Good but Often disrupted by very bad code that he finds funny...and we don't
Carny - Veiled and covered P2P, contains much sandy static but with dynamic international coverage.
Braman - Well, no bugger can find him cos his connection is non existent or very, very weak.
