Clean Our Souls

« on: Friday 13 November 2009, 0903 »

My blydi laptop is causing me grief.
It won't switch on from the mains and the battery has no life left in it.
I've tried kicking it, thumping it and swearing at it endlessly but it refuses to switch on.
There's no cable trouble either.

If we haven't heard from Llainy since yesterday, it must mean that his laptop's still not working ... Sad

Sounds like a power problem to me that will be £15 for that.

Hate to be a harbinger and that but...this happened to Pat and he had to send it away for a new processor. Luckily it was under guarantee. If it's not the cable (whic is a prob we had - hwo about the bit inside your laptop where the cable plugs into, I hear they can become disattached and not connect properly.

Good Luck Dol xx

I have brilliantly & heroically fixed it by getting someone to look at it & they gave me a new cable thing.

Could be that's what caused his laptop to go all like that.

Awesome brilliance and admirable heroism, Lainey.

Actually, I disagree. I think it should be heroic brilliance, and admirable awesomeness ... (or possibly awesome admirableness ... )

Far be it from me to disagree Jean but the quality of brilliance could never be described as heroic.
