What I want to know is -- has anyone on CG.com been taken out for a steak meal in London by Gribbie?

Well is there?

Chance would be fine thing yeah. And I live only 30 minutes from central London and if asked (I said if asked) I would be only too willing to make the effort.

I only live fifty minutes away from central London (by train, aye, I'm not made of money) and yet Gribbie has NEVER taken me out for dinner, sent me a monkeygram or even given me a ride on one of her horse things.

I'm not interested in pointing the finger or blaming anyone - as far as I'm concerned, "live and let live"  -  but does anyone else have any concrete, irrefutable proof of Gribbie's "I'm Alright Jack" attitude?

I told her once that I am a penshuneer.  She just sneered and said, "Pi$$ off old man."  I thought that was a bit harsh.

She's always been OK with me. That's all I can say. Except I'm looking forward to my steak.

This is just like when Sheena Easton went to America and got succesful and then came back to Britain and nobody wanted to know.

I feel let down and saddened, and only £500 is going to make me feel better.

I knew all about Sheena Easton.  I just play thick to make these posh people from the south east of England feel good.

Why is her right hand black ?

She was from South Africa and it was an early attempt at reconciliation between the races.
