Better to die standing, than to live on your knees

« on: Thursday 11 March 2010, 1510 »

I am Che Guevaras Flip Flops and I send revolutionary fraternal greetings to you all.

I am male, over 50 and live in Holyhead.  I originally come from Colwyn Bay.

I work in Holyhead but have previously run pubs in Greater Manchester, done contract security, designed fitted kitchens,  done 22 years in the Army (Infantry), been a police officer, stacked shelves in tescos and worked in the fields and a few other bits 'n' bobs.

Coz I was in the Army for so long I've seen a fair bit of the world.

I am big on left wing stuff (unlike New Labour who are about as left wing as my Guinea Pig's rectum).

I do not like racists or homophobes or the BNP.

I do like chip butties.

And real ale.

So you're going round and round and you don't greet sisters? (And you've missed the apostrophe in Guevara's.)

Congratulations on the former and bad luck on the latter.

Did nothing work out then?

But not most of it, I take it.

Why go under the name of Che Guevara then?  I'm sorry to hear about your Guinea pig's disorientation.

I do not like racists or homophobes or the BNP.
But can you forgive them?

Reenie,  I was in the 1st Battalion,  The 22ND Cheshire Regiment .

Mab,  the system doesn't recognise apostrophes in any embedded text.  All the moving about, well 22 years is a full career and the rest of the time I got bored easy.  As for Che?  I believe Parliament is beyond being reformable.  It needs destroying and replacing. In my travels I have been to Germany, Denmark, France, Italy, Holland, Canada, Iceland, USA, Belize, El Salvador, Hong Kong, Brunei, Thailand, Fiji and Red China.  Possibly more but can't remember.

Welcome Che.  I did it the other way round, born in Holyhead and ended up living in Colwyn Bay.

Hope you enjoy it on here.

That's a lovely greeting Nans.  I think Che will enjoy both the fun and serious discussion on here.  I, for one, have already enjoyed his contributions and he is clearly adept in the art of debate.  It's good to have you on board.
