That's exactly what happened last week, Jean. Have you been looking at pages 12-14 of the Thursday evening edition of the Peterborough Herald?

If so I just want to make something clear: it wasn't me under the sink when that house blew up, although I did ask a passing stranger what time the next bus was.

I don't think that's a beach, as much as a collection of muddy stones and seaweed that just happens to be next to some water.

Funnily enough, I recently bought off eBay a Basil Brush Annual (1976). I don't know why other than some deep-seated yearning for hiraeth and yesteryear. It was very strange, seeing the stories and features for the first time in 41 years. Took me back to being 8 years old again.

Anyway you've aged well, Baz, I'll give you that.

Good old Wils ... always ready to leap to the protection of biodiversity ...

(I bet you wouldn't like it if someone told you to dye your hair red in the cause of planning development ... )

Penrhos?

Close enough my friend, it's the Valley side - just across the water from Penrhos Nature Reserve/ Coastal Park.

Here is a photo from the same beach looking towards Holyhead. There is an old wreck in the photo too.
