Hi

"Those who are about to die salute you"

Inspired by Rascal's collecting things thread from 2017 I decided I would make a Roman Arena playset.  Something I would have loved as a child, but was not available.  I've completed it now.  This is its premiere:

Main discussion / Charismatic performers
« Last post by Shell on Wednesday 23 May 2018, 0915 »
I was watching BBC4 the other night and they were showing performances from the archives. The Faces were on and I was watching how charismatic Rod Stewart was. From the way he looked to the way he used his mic stand as a performance tool just kept me enthralled.
Who in your opinion is a charismatic performer?

And the moral of that is: eat all your Easter eggs at Easter!  Don't leave them for mice with infra-red inclinations ...

Sounds like that should be in the "Strange Foods" thread!

Got a call out the other week. An alarm kept going off. Got there to find somebody had put a bag of Easter eggs on top of a cupboard near an infra-red detector. When we got the bag down we found a mouse quietly munching its way through the eggs.

I hope that's a delicacy Rasc, and not an activity!

Are there any strange concoctions that people have tried barbecuing?

So do we need Work at Height training and Veterinary Practice Certificate to play Cluedo?

Is Parade the one where it's a board with numbered squares, and some of the squares have snakes, and some of them have ladders?

No.

That's Cluedo.

Ha, RB and my good self went to the Victorian extravaganza today in Llandudno and bought a game of Ludo. She has never played it before she tells me?

She is currently beating me at Parade.

Never heard of, never mind played Parade but it gets a great review here which also has tips on improving your game...
