Still human error, or not?
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.

Dunno - what I don't understand is why it didn't happen the next time it needed taxing/SORNing.
Even now
My thought is clinging as to a lost learning
Slipped down out of the minds of men,
Labouring to bring her back into my soul.

Yes a vehicle for those who do not know needs to be SORNed, ever year it is not taxed. New law's now require all vehicles that are taxed to have insurance, even if it's parked up in a garage and unused for a few months of the year.
SORN: Statutary Off Road Notification.

Wils, it's because the DVLA are rubbish at what they do, it's that simple. They sent me a letter about my motorcycle with a load of rubbish about SORN, two years after it was off the road. I sent them a letter of complaint about their lack of customer service and the details of the original SORN declaration.

Rascal bach, you have no idea how hard I'm laughing at your last post.  You are so funny.
I think Rascal should apologise for Wils - seriously!

Thought you had to declare SORN every year?

It is Che, that was my complaint. They were sending me an 80 fine and there was no way that I could prove that I had sent the first SORN declaration. It's not like anyone would take a photocopy of the form before sending it in.

When SORN first came out early 2000, not sure what year, I received a letter and a fine for not declaring a vehicle off road, I sent the DVLA a letter and a refusal to pay the fine, I had no more letters from them, now of course the system is well established and a fine is inevitable.
And SORN is annual, it is also non transferable, once a new keeper buys the vehicle it is up to them to re SORN their purchase.

CO'2's, road tax, insurance, fuel, phones, seat belts, having a joint or a quick half, speeding, parking, con jestion, wrong number plates, MOT, child in the front or in the wrong kind of seat, no more than the 'legal' number of people, no mirrors, no horn..........bla bla bla. Would anyone agree there might be an alternative reason for the existence of the DVLA? Thousands of people employed nationwide .....  for what? To keep you and your family safe? To protect you and other roads users from injury? C'mon you must be getting the picture by now. I'll leave it to others to do the accounting. Needless to say there's a few quid to be had off them there drivers.

I always cram my car full of people, usually Asians, put my children in the front seat with no seat belt on, use a walkie talkie mobile phone so the government know where I am at all times, rip off any horns and mirrors the vehicle may have and have a quick spliff and a pint before even attempting to drive well above the speed limit anywhere. Rules are only for idiots to follow. It's all a global government conspiracy run by major oil corporations and lizard people that run the world so that they can keep on robbing me of MY money.

We have a stupid system.

In Germany your number plate is the property of the local authority and you 'rent' it for a calender year (or part thereof).  At the end of the year if you don't renew it then it's null and void and if you are caught with a suspected null and void plate and it turns out to be true your car is scrapped.   If you move to a different Local Authority then at the end of the year you return your number plate to the old one and get a new one from where you now live.   It's not unusual if you are driving around late at night and your number plates are wrong for that area to be pulled over by the Police wanting to know why you are there.

Really, Rasc? I thought you were better than that.

That lad faced more emotional trauma in his short life than any of us can imagine (Yes, I knew him well). You know what remained after the circumstances of his tragic chhildhood and teenage years  - music. He kept on singing.

Damn, I could really cry at the injustice of it all.
Just read my profile quote.

I hold a mirror up to you and the comments I make are exactly the same ones you have made Ben 10. What you are seeing are your own comments and arguments.
