Cut through my little finger making a sandwich on Christmas eve. Had to rush down to Penhros to get it sorted. Left with a few stitches..... I also now know it's not a good idea to hold a roll while cutting it :D Worst thing was it was the last roll and it had blood all over it! I never got my sandwich :(

That's the time to start mixing cocktails Porty.

I've given up trying to make pastry. Every attempt was a disaster.

I once purchased some "fresh" duck from a shop on Williams Street (in the 80's). Being newlywed and wanting to impress my hubby, I followed the recipe to the letter. The duck was minging. Tasted like petrol and Pat kept saying he reckoned this was the one that was run over on the A4. The basdud. Anyway, it turns out the duck hadn't been treated properly after they'd shot it, so it wasn't my blydi fault after all.

Loads of people complained about that shop.
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.

Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahayha! How much time have you got..? Do come round for a sausage bechdan some time...

Well, there was a time when I set the kitchen on fire cooking sausages, then a small problem when I used the pressure cooker on the stove to melt lead for fishing weights. Then the incident when I tried to dye my jeans on the hob, using black leather dye and a very expensive pan - I thought it was cheap cos it was French - Cruseat or something, but it was hellishly difficult to get the black gunge off... I employ Poles from the port to cook now, but it's a job to get em to serve something other than pickled cabbage and salami...

hahahahaha sausage bechdan sounds nice  ;D ;D

I have cooked a triffle and poured the hot jelly into someone else`s crystal bowl that I borrowed, and it cracked. Thats when I learnt not to pour hot things into other people`s bowls  :o She wasn`t impressed either, as it was her best bowl, and I did it in her kitchen which was one of those immaculate ones. The triffle poured everywhere all over her tops and into her kitchen drawers :o :o she didnt have a clean tea towel left  :o I sh-t myself  :o
I have also blown up a friends kettle by not putting water into it and switching it on and have blown up a friends microwave too by putting a pot into it which had silver inside :o

so who`s house am I now invited round to to show them my delights in the kitchen ;D ;D :D :D :D

When I was first married I cooked one of those tinned Chocolate puddings that you had to steam in boiling water, I didn't know you had to put two holes in the top of the tin to release the pressure.

Next thing you know I heard this tremendous **BANG** from the other room, I ran into the kitchen to find Chocolate pudding all over the ceiling................. needless to say I never cooked one ever again and we had to paint the ceiling.
