I was going to write a post this morning declaring that we hadn't heard from you for a while, Bolsyn.  I knew you must be brewing up something good.  Well, when I opened up the machine just now and saw you were back on I couldn't blydi wait, aye.  Great stuff yet again.  Thanks for the lovely pictures of my little town.

By the way, I noticed you said:

How's the ffliw Bolsyn?  Better I hope.  I was just thinking, did you take the old dog for a walk to Cuckoo's Nest?  That'll be "One ffliw over the Cuckoo's Nest", then.  :D

Keep me a cod and chips with peaswater and a Vimto, please.  Just in case it gets crowded.

Ew, the mountain was looking well this morning.  The gorse is well on its way now, and you know above Verdun and Ty Newydd that way there, it was all yellow you know.

My Aunty Jane lived in Verdun, aye.  The first time I saw television was in Tŷ Newydd.  Old Dafydd Ŵan invited loads of people to watch the Coronation.  Seems like yesterday myn diawl.  Kind old feller aye.
That bit just above was called Mynydd B?ch in my day and was handy for picnics.....bechdan sandwichspread and a flask for a .

Nooooooooooooo!  You're not pethna.  Wyddost ti hogyn ddynas del na oedd yn byw yn Maes y Mynydd estalwm.  You said you have a boy of 5 so you can't be as old as me so you can't have been in Dafydd Ŵan's house watching the Coronation no.  Anyway lemon curd was way out of our financial compass.  Blydi bechdan saim and like it.  I did!

This one's nicer I think. Although I have a feeling Philip Glenister's character might be more suitable

Too early for me that! I was in the crowd at McKenzie tho, in '69' when Charles disembarked the royal yacht for the investiture - anyone else there?

I too remember being trampled there in 69 - I also remember seeing a film about the investiture (yawn) in the Empire sometime afterwards - school trip sort of thing.

Was also at the McKenzie in 1977 the jubilee year when ER 2 was boarding the
royal yacht.
