Harbour development petiton
« on: Wednesday 02 May 2012, 1926 »
As we all know, Stena-Conygar have some awful plans for the Newry beach area. Here is an online petition which has been started in opposition against the development.  http://www.thepetitionsite.com/781/863/680/no-to-destruction-of-newry-beach-local-area/

The target is 1000 signatures so I hope a lot sign it,
Sam

You would be better off putting this on the Welsh Assembly petition site. ( https://www.assemblywales.org/gethome/e-petitions/eform-submit-epetition.htm )

That way at the end someone from the Welsh Government has to formally answer it.  There is also a protest group formed in the Newry area - you should speak with them to make sure you aren't getting in each other's way.

I shall try that. However the one I found also sends your signature to the Council planning office.

It's good that you take the interest and time to try and influence it.

It didn't work. I don't know if any one else wants to have a go at making one?
