The lack of response to this thread leads me to think

a) it didn't happen.
b) it did happen but nobody knew
c) it did happen but nobody was bothered
d) it did happen but nobody dared mention it due to the risk of having to get wet - and cold.

It happened and I think they raised a good few quid :)
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.

Aye, I think it was on New Years Day. The only onfo I found was that the lifeboats took a trip over to McKenzie just in case they were needed.

Due to increasing concerns about the cold the event has now been reinvented for 2014. It will be called Pun for Mun in which people dress up in santa outfits and quote bazpuns. The violent laughter warms everybody up and people are so happy they dig deep into their pockets. Record donations to charity are expected.
