Sunday lunch

I've just had an amazing beef stew, made by Mrs Baz followed by apple pie and ice cream and a glass of wine.

What did you have for your Sunday lunch ?

Pun-free roast chicken - it's like a roast chicken, but it's a little roast chicken.
Even now
My thought is clinging as to a lost learning
Slipped down out of the minds of men,
Labouring to bring her back into my soul.

Yesterday Mrs Baz served roast beef and yorkshire pudding followed by sherry trifle ! very nice..... and to think when I first married her 25 years ago she could barely crack an egg into a pan !

We had lamb.  I not a big fan of lamb ( I much prefer rare beef) but her indoors adores it.

We had the other half of the Christmas turkey ... and there was enough left for sandwiches as well.

I hope you killed it first. The turkey, not the sandwiches. And the sandwiches too, if they count.

You could fit 8 legs of venison on that - if you can afford it, it's probably too dear.

All our sandwiches count.

We only eat intelligent sandwiches.

My Sunday lunch today is fish pie .. mmm mmm and the missus has chucked all kinds of sea creatures into the pie including king prawns.

She, like myself, is also a firm believer in cod.
